Dr. M.Rajajeyakumar, MBBS, MD, MSc Yoga, CCEBDM (PHFI), PhD, 33 Yrs. old ( DOB: 01-05-1981) and working as Assistant professor of Physiology at Chennai medical college hospital & research Centre (SRM Group) Trichy, Tamilnadu, India (Affiliated by Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai). He received MBBS degree from Tirunelveli Medical College and completed MD Physiology, (2006-2009) at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER- An Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India). He has been teaching Physiology for more than 8 years after obtained his Master Degree. He started his teaching career as a junior resident in the Department of Physiology, JIPMER (2006-2009). Then he worked as a senior resident (2009-2012) in the same department and research assistant in Advanced Centre for Yoga Therapy, Education & Research (ACYTER) Lab, JIPMER, collaboration with Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY). He did MSc yoga in Annamalai University and completed ISAK (International Society for the Advancement of Kin anthropometry Level 1 & 2 in the year of 2010-11). He is an expert reviewer (> 25 Research Journals) and editorial board member (> 49 Research Journals). In addition to teaching, Dr. M.Rajajeyakumar has very good skill to organizing conferences (10) and as Guest Speaker (15), Chairperson (5) various academic programmes at national and international level (USA, UK, CANADA, SINGAPORE). I have been actively involved in medical, biomedical, and yoga research. My special research experience is in autonomic, cognitive, cardio-respiratory, neurophysiology and medical education. I had trained with basic Physiological procedures including human and animal experimental physiology; pulmonary function test (PFT), autonomic function test (AFT), HRV (heart rate variability), EMG (electromyography), & NCS (nerve conduction study).
